# PANS PRO firmware for Murata LBUA5QJ2AB-828EVB compatible with DWM1001C PANS

Hello LEAPS team,

I have a Murata LBUA5QJ2AB-828EVB and would like to use it in an existing UWB network with DWM1001C boards running PANS firmware.

Hardware:

New device: Murata LBUA5QJ2AB-828EVB (Type2AB, QM33120W + nRF52840)

Existing devices: DWM1001C boards Existing PANS firmware

My main requirement is to keep the existing DWM1001C PANS firmware unchanged.

Your documentation lists PANS PRO as compatible with PANS RTLS and mentions a Type2AB flashing script.

Could you please clarify:

1. Can Type2AB running PANS PRO join an existing DWM1001C PANS network on Channel 5 / Profile 0? Which PANS versions and tag/anchor roles are supported?

2. Is a factory firmware image available specifically for the Murata LBUA5QJ2AB-828EVB? If so, how can I obtain the evaluation package?

3. Can you provide the initial J-Link/SWD flashing instructions and required configuration? Are there any restrictions on automatic UWB firmware updates in a mixed DWM1001C/Type2AB network?

4. What are the evaluation and production licensing terms? If this EVB is not directly supported, can you provide a board-specific build?
